I'm Jess, maker and owner at 'Jess Berriman Ceramics' I live and work on the north coast of Cornwall.The coastline here in Cornwall provides a wealth of inspiration, colours, shapes and textures. I also take inspiration from other forms of nature. Flowers are a favourite of mine, usually depicted in intricate patterns.  I like to use porcelain for the majority of my work because of the vast possibilities it offers: I find it imprints beautifully and it’s elasticity makes it easy to work with. I love its purity, its soft feel and delicate look. It’s perfect for jewellery. The finished pieces incorporate delicate, simple designs and subtle colours.
